Hello! My name is Jezelle Quakkelaar, wife to my amazing husband Malachi and mommy to two precious angel babies. Malachi and I have been clinging to our faith as we've journeyed through male- and female-factor infertility and recurrent miscarriage. As time has passed we've seen the need that exists among couples going through these life-changing experiences. While faith-based events are often held for singles, couples, new parents, and more, those longing for children to come or longing for children who have passed away often feel unnoticed. After I attended a Longing Event and found the hope and strength that comes from connecting with Jesus-loving women who understood the things I'd been through, I took over heading up these events.

 

Couples experiencing infertility and miscarriage often experience extreme emotional turmoil, altered relationships with friends and family, and challenged faith. Longing Events exist to provide a safe place for women walking these roads to strengthen their faith, find others who understand the complex nature of these journeys, and feel seen in the midst of the longing.
